Blogger Recognition Award

I want to thank the lovely Angel Erin for nominating me for The Blogger Recognition Award. I think awards are pretty fun to do and a great way to find new awesome blogs! :)

So what is this award all about? If you're nominated, then you just have to follow these simple steps:

1. Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to. Do some digging if you must! Find those blogs. You cannot nominate yourself or the person who has nominated you.
2. Write a post to show off your award. Give a brief story on how your blog got started, and give a piece of advice or two to new bloggers. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog. List who you've nominated in the post. Make sure to attach the award itself! You can do this by right clicking, saving and uploading the image above.
3. Comment on each blog and let them know you've nominated them. Provide a link to the award post you created.
4. Provide a link to the original post. Edge of Night. That way anyone can find the original guidelines and post if needed and keep it from becoming mutated and confusing.

How My Blog Got Started

I've always been interested in blogging. Just being able to share your thoughts on things with different kinds of people from all around the world is amazing. I thought it'd be fun to try it myself and decided to just go for it! I'm very glad I did and it's one of the best decisions I've made, I've learned lots of things and met a lot of wonderful people.

My Advice to New Bloggers

Have fun! When you start a blog it's not to have some new responsibility that you're going to consider a chore. It's supposed to be something you'll enjoy and that's going to help you relax and be happy.

Also, never forget to be respectful. Your blog is your own space to share your thoughts and feelings, yes, but that shouldn't give you the right to be mean to others. Be respectful to your followers and the people who comment on your posts. I also think that it's very important that you answer your comments if you have the chance, that's always nice :)
