There’s a new Batman in town—and that’s bad news for Barbara Gordon! She’s already got enough upheaval in her life, with her roommate Frankie now in on her biggest secret. And what happens when Livewire joins the fight with the intention of taking out both Batgirl and the mysterious new Batman? It’s all here, from the pages of BATGIRL #41-45, ANNUAL #3, and the Sneak Peek story from CONVERGENCE: INFINITY INC. #2.

**I received a free eARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

This was a bit more different than what I expected, but I really enjoyed reading about this new Batgirl! First of all, the art in this is just precious and had a very cute style to it, especially when we're seeing things from Barbara's perspective, a full combination of vibrant colors, as opposed to the darker ones we see when she's Batgirl.

There are also a lot of different characters showing up. Like Barbara's dad as Batman, Batwoman, and Dick Grayson, who has some explaining to do about his "death"... Did she really recognize him because of his butt, though?

And there's even a moment when La Tigresa del Oriente makes an appearance.

Well, all right, it's Velvet Tiger. But close enough.

Since this is a collection, we get to read about many different stories, and they were all very enjoyable. We see Batgirl fighting alongside her dad, trying to rescue kidnapped diplomats and even being a maid of honor. Girl's been busy!

I think that girls who are not familiar with comics, but have some interest in starting reading them, could start with this one :) It's very light-hearted and the style is really cute.

Have you read the new Batgirl?

Thank you for reading! Bye-Bye!
