How to Make a Life Ring

So, lately I've been trying to be more productive and get a lot of things done before going back to class (I can get really bored when I'm not doing anything). One of the things I've been doing is courses on Coursera and I have to say that it's been a lot of fun! :)

One of the courses I'm taking is called Creativity, Innovation and Change and I wanted to talk to you about the assignment we got this week. Most Coursera courses work with weekly videos and an assignment or quiz you have to turn in at the end of the week.

So this week we had to make something called Life Ring. I was a little bit confused at first but when I started making it, little by little, I had a lot of fun and found it to be very useful for my life right now. I won't give you the exact instructions on how to make one, because that's something the teachers of the course provided for us and I don't consider it to be right, but I'll explain the idea of this activity so you can make one yourself, I'm pretty sure there are other instructions out there on how to make this, since I've already seen some life rings out there made by other people.

Now, at first I wasn't sure I wanted to share mine, because it can be a little personal, but I think it can be very helpful to others too. So here's the one I made:

This is basically a little life plan, where you put some of the things that are very important to you. You can see in the little green clouds the things that I consider to be important, and then I list what they consist on or what I can get from them. Then there's the pink text outside of the little clouds, those are the tasks that will get me closer to achieve everything I list in the clouds. Finally, the orange line on the bottom is the 'Wildly Important Goal', which is where I want to focus a lot of my energy.

I really enjoyed doing this since it made me be a little more organized about everything I want to do with my life right now; I think my life ring will be changing constantly once I start working on all those things I put there, and new things will come up along the way. I hope you found this to be as helpful as I did and it encouraged you to make one yourself or maybe even take this course the next time it's available :).

Thank you for reading! Bye-Bye!
