The 2013 Christmas Tag

So Christmas is just around the corner and I was really interested in making a Christmas Tag, I found this one by Makeup-Pixi3 the other day and decided to give it a try :).

The cute little gentleman in the picture is our hamster by the way, his name is Oreo. It’s his first Christmas with us! Yay!

Now let's just start...


1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?

I really love having a real tree; it's so much fun going out to pick one and having your house smell great! Although I have to admit that when we get a real tree I feel a little bit guilty, because you're taking this beautiful green tree to your house and a few weeks later it's going to be dead and you're going to throw it out :(. Although I remember that where I used to live before, they would take all the trees to the elephants in the zoo, that was really amazing. We usually have a synthetic one though.

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?

A mochaccino with a lot of whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top… Best thing ever!

3.  What’s your favorite color scheme for decorating the tree?

I just love the traditional red and green combination, we also add a little bit of gold and sometimes even white.

4.  Giving or receiving?

Both. I mean, who doesn't love getting presents? And I also like going out looking for special things for other people.

5.  To mince pie or not to?

We don't have those here.

6.  What's your traditional Sunday lunch?

I think this would be Christmas day lunch or something like that? Every year we would have Ham, but I became a pescetarian a few years ago, so I think I don't really have the same menu all the time, it's something different every year, but there's always some of the traditional Christmas food included.

7.  Christmas day fashion

I love wearing a skirt or a dress with long socks or pantyhose.

8.  What's your favorite Christmas song?

There's this Christmas album we have that we listen to every year, it's got all the traditional songs and I just get the best feeling when I'm listening to them :D so I don't think I could choose just one!

9.  What's your favorite Christmas film?

I just love Christmas films, they're the best. I love watching them all year round. Again, I can't really choose one, so I'm going to name a few of my favorites: Miracle on 34^th Street, Christmas with the Kranks, The Santa Clause, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Nightmare before Christmas, Elf, Arthur Christmas.

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?

Actually, where I live we stay up late the 24^th and usually open the presents at midnight :) woohoo!!
