Fall Time Cozy Book Tag

Hey guys! I was tagged by the lovely Olivia @ Olivia's Catastrophe to do this tag. I thought it looked fun and was very excited about it :) I really love fall, it's one of my favorite seasons, although I live in Venezuela now, so no fall for me here! I miss it so much...

This tag was created by Sam from Novel and Nonsense.

Crunchy Leaves! The world is full of colors. Choose a book that has reds, oranges or yellows on the cover.
Dragún by Ricardo Riera

This book, you people... This book is amazing!! It was actually written by a Venezuelan author, which was a very pleasant surprise, Venezuelans are not known for their Fantasy books. And it's got everything! Dragons, pirates, royalty... I think it's only available in Spanish, and if that's actually the case, then I don't know why!! More people need to read this.

Cozy Jumper! It's finally cold enough to don warm, cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?
Silk & Scars by Cassandra Dean

I read this book very recently and it was so beautiful! I just kept smiling all the time. You can read my review here.

Fall Storm! The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favorite book or genre that you like to read on a stormy day.

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë

Hmm I don't know, I guess I'd read any kind of genre I like on a stormy day. But I'm gonna go ahead and say I'd enjoy a nice, Gothic book like Jane Eyre :)

Cool Crisp Air. Who's the coolest character you'd want to trade places with?
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6644117-the-iron-king
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa

Meghan Chase from The Iron Fey series. This girl is kick-ass, half-fae and a Queen... I mean, what else do you need?

Hot Apple Cider. What under-hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/282282.Skip_Beat_Vol_01

Skip Beat! is actually not too under-hyped, but I think it deserves more attention. And also a Japanese or Korean drama, because the Taiwanese one wasn't that good!

Coats, Scarves and Mittens. The weather has turned cold and it's time to cover up. What's the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?
What to do with a Duke by Sally MacKenzie

Uhm ok, I know. This isn't too embarrassing, right? I went through my books and apparently I don't own books with embarrassing covers, but cheesy ones like this (even though I think it's very pretty!) make me a little bit embarrassed. Yup.

And it's on my kindle though, but still.

I've been really enjoying historical romance lately and you know how those covers usually are. And I still don't know why they do that. I mean, sometimes you have a half-naked couple on the cover and then in the book there are just a few kisses and everything else happens behind closed doors or maybe there's just one sexy scene, so why have the cover be like that when the story is actually sweet and not some bodice ripper kind of story? And if they're not like that, then they can be very cheesy. I find them both embarrassing.

Pumpkin Spiced Latte. What's your favorite Fall Time comfort food or drink?
My answer's pretty boring, but I'm happy with just a cup of coffee or a mochaccino :)

Warm, Cozy Bonfire. Spread the cozy warmth! Who do you tag?

Thank you for reading! Bye-Bye! ♥

  3. So good to read your answers! I love the cover to Dragun! The colours look so good on it ;.; And speaking of covers, I know the feeling about it being hard when you are reading historical fiction because a lot of the covers have that cheesy feel to it xD But if you like the genre, you like it! Jane Eyre was the first classic I read, so I will always have good memories with it as well.
