Judy Hopps wants to become the first rabbit officer in the police department of Zootopia. Once she gets there, the Chief assigns her parking duty, because he doubts she could be as good as the other animals. Finally, she finds a way to prove to him that she can be a great officer, but she's got little time on her hands. Good thing she meets Nick, a fox, who helps her get on with the case and show everyone that she's even more capable than they think.

Some Boys by Patty Blount (A Story about Victim Blaming)
Title: Some Boys
Author: Patty Blount
My Rating: 5/5
Genre: Abuse, Young Adult, Contemporary, Realistic Fiction
Published: August 2014My Rating: 5/5
Some boys go too far. Some boys will break your heart. But one boy can make you whole.
When Grace meets Ian she's afraid. Afraid he'll reject her like the rest of the school, like her own family. After she accuses the town golden boy of rape, everyone turns against Grace. They call her a slut and a liar. But... Ian doesn't. He's funny and kind with secrets of his own.
But how do you trust the best friend of the boy who raped you? How do you believe in love?
A gut-wrenching, powerful love story told from alternating points of view by the acclaimed author of Send.

Catcalling / Street Harassment
Like I’ve mentioned
before, I live in Venezuela… and you have no idea how bad this problem is over
here…
It’s IMPOSSIBLE to
walk just ONE single block without getting a nasty comment from a guy. I’ve
even been followed. And sometimes, if I don’t answer (because apparently you
have to thank those guys for sexually harassing you!), I’ve been insulted. I
would never walk on the streets here wearing a skirt or shorts, I’ve never done
it, never will (although I've realized that what you're wearing doesn't make much of a difference in these cases).
