Olive has received information that her mother might be alive—and now, she and her friends must investigate! Of course werewolves, ghosts, and new student Damian Wayne won’t make it easy!

Welcome to Gotham Academy! Gotham City's most prestigious prep school is a very weird place. It's got a spooky campus, oddball teachers, and rich benefactors always dropping by... like that weirdo Bruce Wayne. But nothing is as strange as the students! Are these Gotham's newest heroes... or villains? The future is here at Gotham Academy.

GOTHAM ACADEDMY Vol. 2 digs deeper into the mysteries that surround the prestigious school and the characters that inhabit it.

Collects issues #7-12 and the sneak peek story from DC SNEAK PEEK: GOTHAM ACADEMY #1.

**I received a free eARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

This is a great light read for children and young adults, I didn't expect it to be this cute and fun!

Even though the story has more to with Olive and her mother, Maps is the one stealing the show. She's adorable and always up for an adventure, reading about her is a real joy. I especially liked seeing her with Damian Wayne, they were really fun together.

I also loved the missions of the Detective Club, and its members, too. They take their job seriously, especially Maps, and it's very entertaining to see them go after all those monsters.

The art is adorable, with lots of colors, but keeping the same dark vibe that Gotham's known for.

Can't wait to read about the future adventures of the Detective Club :)

What do you think of this comic series?

Thank you for reading! Bye-Bye!

  4. I have still never read a comic but I just keep getting put of by the fact I wouldn't get much time to read them just as I have so much to read/do already, when I have a nice long week off of work I will have to purchase one!

    1. A good thing about comics is that you don't really need to have too much time to read them :D I actually read most of this during lunch break haha :)
