Batgirl's about to lose the greatest weapon in her arsenal...because her mind is failing her! Are her ragtag group of allies ready to pick up the slack? And while Batgirl is down, it's Black Canary to the rescue to discover the identity of a malevolent mastermind menacing Burnside! Don't miss these stories from BATGIRL #46-52.

**I received a free eARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

I really like this Batgirl, she's very fun and knows how to kick butt. In this volume, we also get to see some of her friends, like Spoiler, Bluebird and Black Canary, who are now part of her team. I definitely enjoyed seeing all these girls working together, but there were some things that bothered me as well.

There are three stories in this, and they all had a flaw. The first one was very confusing, there were times I didn't know what was going on. Maybe it was because someone was messing with Batgirl's mind and tricking her, but I'm not really sure, since I couldn't really follow everything that was going on.

The second story felt kind of rushed, the girls were fighting the criminals and they were done before I even realized... Oh and then Batgirl talks about leaving and "finding herself" or something... I didn't really get that. Finally, the third story (a short one) was pretty much dialogue free, and I felt a bit lost as well.

I did enjoy reading this because of the girls though, they made it more entertaining and I liked that Olive and Maps from Gotham Academy also made an appearance. I hope things get better in the next volume, since I really like this Batgirl, like I mentioned.

Thank you for reading! ♥

  2. It's a shame about the second book feeling a bit rushed, which can take away a little from the enjoyment. But overall Batgirl sounds like such a cool character. I'm head over heels in love with Batman so I should try one of her stories and see if I can enjoy them just as much as well!
